- Pre-Doctoral
* Carried out research for the Ph.D. degree funded by UGC, India on “Interface between Development Finance and Industrial Development” and awarded Ph.D. from Utkal University, Orissa, India on June 3, 1992.
Engaged in various research activities since 1982. - Post-Doctoral
Completed my post-doctoral research leading to the award of Doctor in Literature (D.Litt.) in Business Administration partly funded by ICSSR, India on “The Idea and Ideation of Progress and Pattern in the Pluralistic World of Management: Untying and Retying for the Ultimate Prototyping†from Utkal University, Orissa, India and D.Litt. was awarded on November 16, 2007. - Guidance
* Guiding Research scholars:
1. “The Impact of Foreign Direct Investments on Developing Countries with special reference to India” (Ph.D. in Business Administration is awarded to G. Anand Rao in 2007.
2. “Some Aspects of industrial Development in Backward areas with special reference to Orissa State” (Ph.D. in Business Administration is awarded to Santosh Kumar Biswal in 2007).
3. “Problems and Prospects of Joint sector projects in Orissa”. (On going research for Ph.D. by Padmakanta Mishra).

- Served as Superintendent of Hostels since 1995. Served as Superintendent of New P.G.Hostel in Ravenshaw College Campus having 230 boarders up to April 2004.
